CINCH has launched a summer camp cycle of HALO at Home that will feature short lessons and an easy calendar of activities to help preschoolers make healthy choices while having fun all summer long! Click here to see the schedule. And register here.
Chesapeake parks are open! Tennis courts, outdoor Pickleball courts, and neighborhood playgrounds are open. Parks and trails remain open to unorganized recreation.
Youth can also take part in socially distanced, outdoor day camps! Register online

Resources For Parents
Communities in Schools Virtual Parent Support Group: Meets every Thursday and is designed with the parent in mind to offer support and an ear about the struggles and concerns that we all are embracing during the pandemic. The group will be facilitated but is parent-led in discussion with rules and expectations established in the beginning.

Chesapeake Public Schools Family and Community Engagement: Online Resources
Virtual Farmer's Market Healthy Chesapeake and Disappearing Deserts have joined to create an online farmers marketplace connecting the residents of Chesapeake with local produce, baked goods, meats, and prepared food. The Food Connection Market complies with COVID-19 containment procedures and best practices as recommended by Virginia’s Department of Agriculture and Consumer Sciences (VDACS).
